The Cuban Missile Crisis was an effort in aggression toward the United States by Nikita Khrushchev and Fidel Castro, by placing Russia's medium range missiles in Cuba. United States President John F. Kennedy utilized his foreign policy and negotiating skills in response. The two Superpower leaders both remained firm with the rights and responsibilities of their prospective countries, with regard to the nuclear warheads, and the rapid removal of them from Cuban soil.
